In Sogomail: Open the email you want to save, click the three dots, then select “Download message.”
In Thunderbird: Open the email and choose “Save as” to store it in .eml format.
In Microsoft Outlook: Outlook uses a proprietary format and does not allow you to directly save an opened email as an .eml file.
