Once you have exported your logs, you will receive an Excel spreadsheet containing five columns.
Date: The date and time the email was sent.
Sender: Email address of sender
Recipient: Email recipient address
Status: Transmission status of your email
There are five possible statuses:
- Sent: Your email has been successfully transmitted.
- Deferred: Your email has been temporarily rejected by the recipient's server and will be automatically resubmitted for five days.
- Bounce: Your email has not been delivered permanently.
- Rejected: sending not authorised by the Serenamail platform.
- Expired: deferred email that has exceeded the five-day deadline.
Status message: confirms the delivery of an email or informs you of an error.
The most common errors are:
452-4.2.2 The recipient's inbox is out of storage space ou 452 4.2.2 Mailbox full
552 5.2.2 Over quota
550-5.1.1 unnecessary spaces
552-Requested mail action aborted: exceeded storage allocation 552-Quota exceeded
-> Recipient's mailbox full
421-4.7.26 Your email has been rate limited because it is unauthenticated. Gmail 421-4.7.26 requires all senders to authenticate with either SPF or DKIM
-> No SPF/DKIM on your sender domain
All providers now require this, so don't hesitate to set it up or contact Alinto customer service for assistance.
Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=voila.fr type=MX: Host not found, try again
->This message indicates that the recipient domain cannot receive email; there is no email associated with this domain
451 Please try again later
-> This error code returned by the recipient server indicates that there is a problem and your message is temporarily being rejected.
Your message will therefore be resubmitted by the sending platform.
450 4.1.8: Sender address rejected: Domain not found
-> This error code indicates that the recipient server is rejecting your message because the sender domain is invalid (no MX entry).
Most providers perform this check, which is why your sender domain must have an MX record.
550-Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable
550 5.4.1 Recipient address rejected: Access denied.
-> Rejected by the remote server because the recipient's mailbox does not exist, is full, or is disabled.
It may also be that the recipient is blocked, for example with a blacklist
550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. Please try 550-5.1.1 double-checking the recipient's email address
550-5.1.1 Recipient address rejected: User unknown in relay recipient table
550 5.1.1 At least one recipient address is invalid. Invalid recipient
-> The recipient's address no longer exists or there is an error in the recipient's address
